I’ve worked at the Centre for over four years now and have seen many changes take place. We’ve grown as an organisation and offer a unique service in the West of Scotland (and beyond, I think). The best thing for me has been to watch Centre users find themselves and grow beyond their own expectations as they access services like our Lesbian Personal Safety (kindly provided by Wise Women Glasgow) our leisure classes and the various social and support groups that meet here regularly.
I’m mum to an thirteen year old boy and a twenty something daughter (not giving too much away here) and live with my son and my partner. I’m a member of Glasgow Lesbian Mother’s Group and spend most of my spare time reading and moving furniture from one room to another! When I’m not rearranging the house, I write articles for our quarterly newsletter Centrepoint and any other publication that’ll have me.
